Acts of Bias/Hate Crime Procedure Proposal

Proposed Bias-Hate Crime procedure

Above you will find a copy of the proposal before the SGA and administration, as presented to the SGA earlier this month.

Currently, there is no procedure or method of handling acts of bias or hate crimes on campus.

Note: PDF is scanned backwards; bottom page is the first page, etc.

I love that we’re finally taking motion against this. While it is sad to see that there were no procedures against hate crimes on campus before, this makes me feel safer as a student and helps with consistency and cohesion in terms of the “community feel” that Emmanuel constantly refers to.

One small thing: I’m fairly sure the PDF linked above is missing its last page!

The PDF was scanned backwards. The last page is the first page and vice versa. Our bad!
