Can’t make it to Yoga Club on Tuesdays or Wednesdays? Discover a cheap alternative at Back Bay Yoga.
Located steps away from the Arlington T stop, this studio offers a range of affordable classes, such as daily $5 community classes and one-hour Vinyasa sessions for $10. Community classes consist of “Beginning Vinyasa,” a form of yoga that emphasizes deep breathing for relaxation, as well as “Hip Hop Yoga,” which is instructed to the beat of hip hop music in a heated room.
Newcomers are encouraged to take advantage of a New Member Special—two weeks of classes for $25—and purchase supplies like yoga pants and mats at the store in the studio. The instructors are highly trained in various styles of yoga, approachable and open to questions at the end of each session.
Yoga can be a helpful form of stress relief, especially for college students with busy schedules. Use your first session to escape the monotony of your daily routine, unwind and find inner peace. Namaste!
Psst! In Hindu, namaste is an expression of meeting or parting. The bowing gesture it is paired with symbolizes a recognition of one another’s souls.
