Opening Day Goes Well for Boston

Fenway Park unlocked its gates yesterday, in honor of the stadiums’ one hundred and first anniversary.
Red Sox fans came out of hiding, in order to cheer on and support their team. After the disappointment of last year’s campaign, the fans are hoping for the better during this season.
So far the Sox are off to a great start, considering they are currently leading the standings for the American League East with their record of 5-2.
Clay Buchholz pitched a great game yesterday, only giving up one run to the Baltimore Orioles and ultimately helping Boston move towards a 3-1 victory for their first game of the season at home.
What a day it was for Boston and their fans to bring home a win for their first game of many on their own turf. We can only hope that this streak continues to prevail, since it is still early on into the season.
The Red Sox will be facing off with Baltimore in Boston once again on Wednesday, April 10.
