The Sandy Hook Walk

On Tuesday, April 21st the Education Club, 1804 Society, and Campus Ministry collaborated in a 2 mile walk to support the Sandy Hook Parent Teacher Organization. Originally, this event was meant to take place at Clemente Field but due to the unfortunate weather this walk had to be in the gym at Emmanuel.

For students to take part in the walk they had to pay $5 and staff and faculty had to pay $10. The first 50 people who showed up to the event got a free T-shirt.

Some people attended only to stop by to give some donations. By the end of the day on Tuesday over $500 has been raised.
