Katelyn Boudreau ’14 is definitely on our list of seniors you should meet before you graduate. In her four short years here at EC she has devoted herself to improving and participating on campus. Find out why some call her “the queen of Emmanuel” below.
Hometown: Burrillville, RI
Major: Double major in Political Science and History
Minor: Double minor in Latin American and American Studies
When asked how she managed to balance her impressive workload she laughed saying, “lots of coffee.”
Her advice for fellow students swamped with obligations and to-do lists is “to stay organized. Try not to overload yourself with work you can’t handle and don’t compare yourself to other students. Everyone’s study habits are different.”
After college, Boudreau says she plans on enrolling in the Peace Corps, and then attending graduate school to receive her PhD. When she does have spare time she enjoys visiting home, reading, and catching up on her favorite TV shows. “I’m a huge fan of Dr. Who and Parks and Rec” she says.
Her favorite part of her time at Emmanuel has been how much she has been able to do. “Emmanuel offers students a lot and if you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for, it’s easy to start a club or find other opportunities around you.”
