Corey Bailey is a junior at EC and in his three short years here he has quickly become the go-to man behind several programs many EC students have participated in. Find out more about the part time real estate agent and coordinator for Dance Marathon below.
Hometown: Newton, NH
Major: Double major in Management and English Communications
When asked what his favorite activity he’s participated in at EC Bailey said, “Administrative OL has definitely been the most rewarding.” As an admin OL, Bailey is in charge of all orientation leaders, participates in and plans OL training sessions, and is in charge of helping make sure summer orientations run as smoothly as possible.
When not fulfilling his many duties at Emmanuel, Bailey is a local real estate agent. “It’s very challenging but it forces me to become better at time management. I do consider it a transition, but not a career goal.”
As for his plans for after college, Bailey says he would like to move out of Boston to pursue a career in advertising in New York City or San Francisco.
His parting advice for fellow undergrads is “Get involved in what you’re passionate about but don’t be afraid to let things go if they don’t work; time is too precious.”
