Editor’s Note: Why are there no articles? Here’s why

Dear Hub friends and followers,

Yesterday afternoon, we learned from one of our writers that The Hub website was empty. After examining our dashboard on WordPress, we discovered that someone had hacked into our account and deleted all of the articles ever submitted and posted on The Hub. We are currently in the process to find out from WordPress if there is any way to restore our posts.

In the meanwhile, we are going to continue to post articles as we get them from our writers and continue as normally as we possibly can.

If you have any questions or ideas on how to help us, feel free to email us at or tweet us @ECtheHUB.

We appreciate your support and patience.

Melissa Mecchi, Editor-in-Chief

Edit 3/25/14: The Hub is currently in the process of republishing past articles. We appreciate all your help and consideration during this time.

Hi there! I’m an alum who keeps on my resume for professional references – is there any hope of restoring my old articles? Those are kind of important to me.

Hi Sarah, we actually just heard from WordPress yesterday that they should be able to restore the site from a backup that they have from Friday before the mass deletion. We’re still waiting to hear back from them as to when that will happen.
