Acapocalypse Winter Showcase Raises Over $600 For EC Dance Marathon

Saturday, Dec. 6 marked Acapocalypse‘s Winter Showcase .

This year, a capella groups Suffolk Ramifications and the CCSU Divisi performed as well. All the money from the event went to EC’s Dance Marathon.

The group performed “Pompeii” by Bastille, “Sleep” by Allen Stone, “Put the Gun Down” by ZZ Ward, “We R Who We ” by Ke$ha, “Run to You” by Pentatonix, and “It’s Gonna Be Me” by N Sync.

Soloists for the songs were Phillipe Miranda ’15 for “Pompeii”, Ariana Pagan ’15 for “Sleep”, Brittany Pennellatore ’16 for “Put the Gun Down”, Caroline Lussire ’17 for “We R Who We R”, and Justine McLaughlin ’16 & Michelene Dupuis ’17 for “It’s Gonna Be Me.”

The combination of $3 student tickets, $5 non-student tickets, and donations from the crowd allowed the group to raise a total of $622 dollars for the Dance Marathon fund.
