“Fishing for Compliments” A Poem by Andrew Dion

I will avoid most meat.

I’ll also avoid making eye contact while you eat yours.

I will frown when I smile.

I will frown to smile just to fool you.

I will not hold the door for you.

I will not thank you when you hold the door for me.
