DIY Fair Provides Stress Relief During Midterms

The Emmanuel College Programming Board, along with EC Campus Cursive and the EC Graphic Design club, hosted a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) fair featuring a variety of arts and crafts. Students had the opportunity to tie-dye t-shirts, paint inspirational canvases, make their own terrariums, design their own quote boards and even, eat apple crisp.

New member of ECPB, Alexa Mehlhorn ’18 estimated about 75 people stopped by. She says, “People were like, it’s a great way to get your anger out for midterms.”

ECPB is also having “Scream on the Green” tomorrow from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Hocus Pocus will be playing, and all are welcome to attend. On October 24, Octoberfest will be celebrated on the quad. Students may come eat, drink apple cider, play games, mingle, and more on the quad.

At all of these events, students have the opportunity to sign-up for apple picking at Honey Pot Hill Orchards on October 25. Spots can be reserved with a $5 deposit. For more event information, check out ECPB on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
