On Sunday, February 5, the Emmanuel College Dance Team hosted a dance competition in the Andy Yosinoff Gymnasium.

Middle school, high school, and college students danced in various style categories including hip hop, jazz, and various others.

The Emmanuel College Dance Team competed in the college hip hop category against the Bridgewater State and In the Making (ITM) dance teams.

Emmanuel earned second place behind ITM’s first place win.

“It was definitely awesome to be able to dance in a competition on the same floor we practice on every week,” said Dance Team member Colleen Perry ’19.

The event drew in large crowds, with over flowing stands and loud audience members. Many students, parents, and coaches were present to cheer on their dancers.
