“We thought this would be a great event to keep people on campus and entertained on the weekend,” said ECPB member Mackenzie Thibodeau ’17.
“We thought of the event after attending the NACA conference and knew it would be a great collaboration with EC Holy Rollers,” Thibodeau continued.
The gym was unrecognizable with neon flooring placed over the court. Balloons lined the floor, as well as tables bearing 90’s themed crafts and games, such as Candy Land, cootie catchers, and bouncy balls.
“I love seeing all the glow sticks and I also love the crafts and games set up,” said Katie Gilmore ’19.
People showed off their skating talents. Some completed fast laps around the tracks and others putting all their effort into simply standing up on their skates.
“It was so exciting to do something active and fun,” said Kate Langham ’18. “I haven’t skated since eighth grade so I’m happy to try something I haven’t done in a while,” she continued.
The night was not without a few falls, though it was all in good spirits.
