“PW Eyes” A Poem By Jonathan Rowe ’18

When lens direct
light waves on the retina,
we perceive our surroundings
in color or black & white.
So when your entry into a room
is an interruption; where stares
add locks to your isolation chamber,
where your words unsettle
this achromatic order,
don’t deny you are an outlier.
Adjust your vision
& make this space your own.
