Orange county medical Examiner confirms with Autopsy report that stand-up comedian and actor Bob Saget had Covid-19 and died due to blunt head trauma after unwitnessed fall at hotel room today.
“It is in my opinion that the death of Bob Saget, a 65-year-old man who is famous stand up comedian and actor a found unresponsive in a hotel room. It is said to be result of blunt head trauma. The probability is that the deceased person agonized with an unwitnessed fall backwards and struck the posterior facet of his head. The manner of Bob Saget’s death is accident,” said Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua D. Stephany said in reports.
The official Examiner findings reverberation was similar as that of alleged in an official statement confirmed by Bob’s family on Wednesday. They cited in official statement that the, head trauma as his main cause of Bob’s death.
Another report noted that a PCR test disclosed that Bob Saget, a 65 year old actor, was also suffering from Covid-19 disease symptoms and had positive for the same.
Bob Saget, who died in Orlando, Florida hotel room, has been infected in December and continue to test positive for the virus for three consecutive months. As PCR tests can return positive results for weeks after recovery too. He has also shared his experience of Covid 19 journey in one podcast just last week before his death.
Whereas autopsy also noted he had an enlarged heart which was 95% blocked on single side.
Family also stated in reports, that No alcohol was involved and present in his system. Moreover, the report by Dr. Joshua Stephany, chief medical examiner for Orange and Osceola counties, said in a statement that, his systems confined with Clonazepam/Klonopin which is taken for seizures, panic disorders and anxiety. In addition to that, the antidepressant Trazodone was also found in Bob’s system, the officials confirmed.
An autopsy report confirmed later that, Thursday showed that Bob had an abrasion on his scalp, a fracture at the base of his skull and around his eye sockets. Also bruises to the brain were observed, according to the Associated Press.
