Season 3 ended with the Mayans facing their most difficult challenge yet. An attempt to unite a number of other charters under a single leader ended up backfiring and eventually triggered a civil war. In the final moments of the season 3 finale, that war has now arrived at Santo Padre’s doorstep. After confessing to Bishop that he killed Riz rather than the Vatos Malditos, Taza goes to the police station to face charges. A gunshot can be heard from inside the clubhouse a few moments later, but it is unclear if Bishop actually shot and killed Taza.
EZ Reyes (JD Pardo), a member of the Mayans M.C. charter, is the focus of Mayans M.C., which was co-created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James and follows the life of EZ Reyes (JD Pardo). When the Santo Padre M.C. attempted to unite under a single King, EZ, his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas), and the rest of their gang faced retaliation from other chapters. Elgin James, the show’s creator and showrunner, recalls how Mark Twain’s novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn served as an inspiration for the third season. There have been themes for each season, and Huckleberry Finn seemed appropriate for this one. “My goal was to convey how much of an American novel and show this is. Having a mostly Latinx cast and crew can put us in a box, but maybe America looks a little different in people’s minds than they think it does.”
In the season 3 finale, Gaby made the decision to leave Santo Padre and pursue a new life for herself. However, James predicts that EZ will be “pushed south of the light” if she leaves. As far as I’m concerned, he’s got plans for the future and a few bridges to burn. For Meth Mountain’s ruler, Isaac (JR Bourne), just before Gilly shot him, a reaper tattoo appeared that mysteriously linked Isaac to SAMCRO.
As James hints, “We’ll have to wait and see what happens with him.” “[Bourne] is a friend of mine; we worked together on the film Little Birds. His performance this season has earned him the nickname “The Hater.” It was 32 degrees when we shot the Meth Mountain scenes. So, do you think we should go back? We could. Is Isaac finally out of the way? We don’t know.”
Tuesday, April 19th at 10pm ET/PT will be the premiere date for the fourth season of Mayans M.C. The first two episodes of the season will air back-to-back, with new episodes available the following day on Hulu. As with previous seasons, this one will also have a total of 10 episodes. Elgin James, a co-creator, told Deadline: “So that’s how things are going, because that was what we were familiar with. After that, who knows? Since most shows no longer run for seven seasons, it’s possible that there will only be one left.”
Season 4 of Mayans MC is expected to premiere sometime in the near future.
Season four of Mayans MC will premiere in 2022. There’s no word yet on when the show will be released, and UK viewers will have to wait a little longer than expected due to licencing agreements, which mean the show won’t be available at the same time as the US version.
There will be another season in May 2021 and Elgin James expressed his gratitude to everyone at FX and 20th Century Fox for allowing him and his team the opportunity to continue telling the stories of characters that they helped create with Kurt [Sutter] and whom they helped take to new heights in Season three, according to Deadline.
Each character’s truths will be explored, the dangers of the combustible world they inhabit will be examined, and each writer, cast member, and crew member will stake out their own place as storytellers in season four.”

There have been three seasons of watching him try to get out of the darkness, but now… he seems to be f**king in it.
Season three finale viewers will be clamouring for information on who was the target of the assassination attempt.
James confirmed to EW that he heard a gunshot. When EZ heard the gunshot, he turned toward the temple, if I recall correctly.

This is my dude [Bourne], he was in my film Little Birds. This season, he brought a lot to the table, and people have a thing for him. It was 32 degrees when we shot the Meth Mountain scenes. In addition, we can expect to learn more about Taz’s sexuality and the ramifications of it in upcoming episodes, as well as the status of Adelita’s son and the current state of Emily and Galindo’s marriage.
