“WandaVision,” “Loki,” “What If…?” and — in a surprise to Marvel Comics fans everywhere — “Moon Knight” were among the episodes included in this series.

The program, however, may be the most anticipated MCU series to date, and fans are already expressing their enthusiasm on social media about the show.

Everything we know so far about Marvel’s “Moon Knight” is here.

Moon Knight’s Release Date Is Yet to Be Determined.

When “Moon Knight” aired during a wild card game in 2022, it not only gave fans a taste of what the widely awaited series will be about, but also disclosed its scheduled release date.

The first episode of “Moon Knight” will air on Disney+ on March 30, 2022, the same day as the rest of Marvel’s Phase 4 TV series.

When exactly the series will be accessible for streaming is unknown, but we can surmise that it will follow the release schedule of other Marvel shows like “Hawkeye,” “Loki” and “WandaVision,” which all aired their episodes each week at 3:00am ET (12:00am PT).

Who Is in the Moon Knight Cast?

Only Oscar Isaac, who will portray Moon Knight and his many overlapping identities, will lead the cast of Moon Knight.

Marc Spector, a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder, is the real-life identity of Moon Knight.

Throughout the course of the series, Marc switches between various unique personas (via Variety).

In a way, these aliases serve as distinct characters in and of themselves.

It will be fascinating to watch how Isaac interprets each of these personalities on screen.

A cult leader named Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke) appears in the teaser and pushes Marc to “embrace the madness” in the first episode.

Gaspard Ulliel, a French actor who appeared in the series posthumously as Anton Mogart, is also featured (alter ego of the character known as Midnight Man).

Unfortunately, Ulliel was sadly killed in a skiing accident shortly after the production of “Moon Knight,” which was one of his final ventures.

Among the others confirmed for the show are F. Murray Abraham (who portrays the Egyptian deity Khonshu), Lucy Thackerey (who plays a coworker who is close to one of Marc’s many identities), and May Calamawy, who will play a part that has not yet been announced.

In Moon Knight, Who Is the Primary Villain?

“Moon Knight” appears to have two antagonists, Dr. Arthur Harrow and Midnight Man, at this point.

While Ethan Hawke’s Harrow appears to be the show’s primary villain, it’s possible that the latter may play a supporting role.

This may not be the end of the storey, however, as Dr. Harrow has appeared just once in a comic book (in 1985’s Moon Knight: Fists of Khonshu #2).

Dr. Harrow is introduced as a pain theory expert who conducts unlawful human experiments, so there isn’t a lot of material to draw from there.

It is clear that Hawke’s character was based on someone else. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor said that David Koresh and Carl Jung had a huge impact on his depiction of Dr. Harrow in the show.

“I have no interest in the super-wealthy antagonist’s genius. When someone kills you because they think themselves to be a decent person, it warms my heart.

That truly terrifies me, “he informed the media.

Are There Any Plans for How Many Episodes Moon Knight Will Have?

According to Kevin Feige, “Moon Knight” will include six episodes (via Collider).

These episodes will be between 40 and 50 minutes long, which is in line with previous Marvel Disney+ shows.

The 62-minute finale of “Hawkeye” presently holds the record for the longest MCU series episode.

While “Moon Knight” has yet to accomplish this milestone, Feige’s comments were made before the editing process had even begun.

With “The Variant,” which clocks in at 55 minutes, “Loki” has the second-longest episode, while “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” has the longest episode at 61 minutes.

When the show premieres on March 30, we may expect to see a “Moon Knight” episode that is at least 50 minutes long.

Any Chance We’ll See Mcu Movie Featuring Moon Knight?

Until this time, all of the MCU’s main characters had been in several films, so there was always the expectation that they would return to the big screen.

Moon Knight is the first Disney+ character to have an origin storey, and it’s unclear what will become of him in the future.

We had to hope that Oscar Isaac’s Marc Spector would appear in future MCU films because we know there won’t be a Season 2, and it seems like those wishes are about to be realised.

According to Kevin Feige, who spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, Moon Knight will make an appearance in an MCU feature following the series.

Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslani) of “She-Hulk” and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) of “Ms. Marvel” are two more examples of female protagonists who are portrayed by women.

We’ll have to wait and see what the show’s six-episode run has in store for indications as to where Moon Knight may appear next.

Neither “Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness” nor “Thor: Love and Thunder” nor “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” have speculated appearances for him.
