Disney Channel has officially announced Zombies 3, which is fantastic news, but it also brings some awful news: this will be the series’ final film.
Zombie football player Zed and cheerleader Addison fall for each other in the blockbuster franchise that takes set in a post-nuclear disaster world where humans and zombies coexist.
As Seabrook’s zombie/cheerleader duo Zed and Addison, Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim will return in Zombies 3. Paul Hoen, David Light, and Joseph Raso will all reprise their roles in the finished film.
Here’s all you need to know about Zombies 3 and how the sequel sets it up, now that it has been confirmed.
Timetable for Zombies 3: When Can We Expect the Release of Zombies 3?
Although a release date for Zombies 3 has yet to be announced, we do know that production will begin this spring in Toronto.
That tells us that the third film will air on Disney Channel in the United Kingdom and the United States in February 2022.

It’s no coincidence that the previous two films were released on Valentine’s Day in 2018 and 2020, respectively.

Zombies 3 Plot: How Does the Finale of Zombies 2 Set Things Up?
Zed and Addison’s youthful love looked to be in doubt after he stole a pendant that Addison believed would disclose her real nature as a werewolf.
After Zed apologised and realised he had been acting like a jerk to the werewolves, everything worked out OK in the end.
Zed apologises to Addison after the zombies storm the Prawn with the help of the werewolves.

“For a while, I thought being a werewolf made sense, but I’m not. I’m not even sure if I’m a cheerleader,” Addison confesses to Zed, who assures her that she is a leader.
You’re a great connector.”
They kiss and make up after that. Aww.
Near Zombies 2, Addison’s radio wakes her up later that night when a weird meteorite hits in Seabrook. As her hair begins to flash vivid blue, she exclaims, “Weird.”
What’s going on? Is Addison an alien? As Zed and Addison approach their last year at Seabrook High, the official description for the third film promises that an extraterrestrial twist is on the way:
According to story, “Zed is hoping for a collegiate athletic scholarship that will make him the first Zombie to attend college, while Addison is preparing for Seabrook’s first international cheer-off tournament.”

Once in a while, aliens show up in the area, causing more than just friendly competition to erupt.
Who Is Returning to the Zombies 3 Cast?
Only Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly have been officially cast as Zed and Addison in the third film.
This season will also feature the return of Trevor Tordjman (Bucky), Chandler Kinney (Willa), Kingston Foster (Zoey), Carla Jeffery (Bree) and Paul Hopkins (Dale) among others. However
For the time being, all we can do is wait. We’ll have a better idea of who’s returning for the finale once filming gets underway.
