When is the second season of Star Trek: Picard going to be on TV?
Season 2 of Picard starts on Thursday, March 3, 2022, and new episodes will be released every week.

In the first season of Picard, what did happen?
(Warning: This section contains spoilers for the first season of Picard.)

It’s hard, to sum up, the whole first season of Picard, but we’ll give it our best shot. (Yeah. This section has spoilers. Retired Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Stewart) gives an interview at home in France at the beginning of the show, which is called “Picard.” One that he has only reluctantly agreed to. Interview: Picard says that when Starfleet decided not to rescue people after rogue synthetics attacked a rescue fleet, he quit because he didn’t think they were going to do the right thing. Synthetics was banned soon after by Starfleet. There was no more production or research of artificial people.

Assassins show up at the home of Dahl (Isa Briones), a young woman living in the United States. She and her boyfriend are having a good time when the assassins arrive. Dahl’s survival instincts kick in and she kills the intruders very well, but not before her boyfriend is killed. After that, she sees Picard in her dreams. When she sees his interview, she wants to talk to him because she thinks he can help her.

It turns out that Picard went to the Starfleet Archives. He found a painting that Data (Brent Spiner) had given to him years ago when he was younger.

Painting: “Daughter” shows the woman who looks very much like Dahj. he meets up with Dahj, and they are attacked by more masked killers. It doesn’t work out for Dahj this time and she dies. Data’s daughter, Dahj, is also a synth.

After that, Picard meets up with Dr. Jurati (Alison Pill), who is an expert in the field of synthetics, and they talk. He learns about a procedure that makes twins. Then Picard and Laris (Orla Brady), a friend and employee of his, look into Dahj’s twin sister, Soji (Briones), and find out that she is working on a Borg cube that no longer works.

Picard wants to get to Soji before assassins get to her, so he hires Captain Rios (Santiago Cabrera) and his ship, the La Sirena, to get them to her. Before he does anything, he gets his former first officer, Raffi (Michelle Hurd), to join him. He wants Picard to go with him. Soon after that, the ship takes a detour so Picard can visit the planet where he helped many Romulan refugees find new homes after Starfleet stopped its rescue missions. Before leaving Starfleet, he asked Elnor (Evan Evagora) to join him on his journey. Elnor is the Romulan child he left behind when he left Starfleet. There are warrior nuns who raised Elnor after Picard left, and he learned how to fight from them. Elnor is now an adult.

To get to the Borg Reclamation Site, they answer a distress call and beam the pilot of the La Sirena to their ship, which is on its way there. He is Seven of Nine, and he is the pilot for this story (Jeri Ryan).

On the Borg cube, a Romulan spy named Narek (Harry Treadaway) starts a kind of courtship with Soji as he tries to get her to give him information.

If Soji doesn’t give up the location of her homeworld, Romulans can go there and kill all the synths there. He knows that Soji is a synth, so he uses all the information he has about her to get her to give it up.

It’s a race to get to Soji’s home planet first, between Narek and the Romulans and Picard and his group of friends. Picard and the rest of the team meet Soji’s “father,” Dr. Altan Soong, when they arrive at the hospital (Brent Spiner). They find out that Soji has a lot of siblings, including twins Janna and Sutra, who are also his siblings (also Briones). It won’t be long before Narek and Romulan show up to destroy the planet. Starfleet and William Riker fight them.

It all comes to an end when the Romulans are scared off by Starfleet and Picard dies, but not before his mind is put into a synthetic body.
