Early childhood development and education
Two Lewis was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 24, 1985. His mother relocated his family to Zone 6, Decatur, not long after. Two was reared in a family of hard workers who also had musical talent, so he was exposed to the music industry at a young age.
Titus Turner, the famed writer, is his uncle, and Sean Garrett, the great writer, is his first cousin. Tracy T aka Tracy Richardson, Rodriquez “Dopeboy Ra Smith, Erick Smith, Beau Billingslea, Jamal Lewis, Parlae (Maurice Gleaton), and God brothers Isreal Route & J.I.D. are among his notable relatives (Destin Route). He not only has it in his blood, but he also grew up in Whitney and Bobby Brown’s closest circle.
Two began throwing parties and advertising high school events when he was 12 years old. Popularity came from being a brilliant dancer, skater, and athlete. Because he was such a well-known promoter, he attracted the attention of a few industry figures, including Eddie “skeeter Rock” Weathers, the head of A&R at SoSo Def, and Chadron “Nitti Beatz Moore, the CEO of playmaker music. He was taken under their wings by both of them.
Skeeter taught him how to A&R projects, work with budgets, and understand the complexities of marketing. He learnt how to operate a label, balance out schedule, and the value of being present in the room from Nitti. Two and his cousin Rara, commonly known as Young Capone, founded the Mpg label while still in high school. Mike DaRockman, beat billionaire (Maybac music), Rara (Rocnation/grand hustle), Tracy T (Maybac music), the late Bankroll Fresh, and many more acts signed to major labels began their careers on Mpg.
He went on to Florida State University after high school and subsequently to Georgia Institute of Technology. He also studied at Daegu’s Kyungpook National University. He obtained and developed several extremely useful talents during his academic career, but his friendship with Skeeter Rock and Nitti Beatz, as well as the knowledge he gained from them, were motivating elements in his decision to pursue a career in music.
