Season 2 of the dramatic relaunch of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, shortened to Bel-Air, will air. Here are five predictions for what may occur throughout the upcoming season.
In Season 2 of ‘bel-air,’ Geoffrey Must Return at Some Time.
Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes) urged Geoffrey (Jimmy Akingbola) to keep Lou (Marlon Wayans) away from Will (Jabari Banks) when Vy (April Parker Jones) told him about his father. The house manager, on the other hand, refused and later provided Will with a file on his father after he begged for one.
To avoid any unnecessary drama, the 17-year-old elected not to read it, instead of giving it to Uncle Phil, who learned Geoffrey had disobeyed him.
Phil decided they should split ways when the house manager said he would protect the Banks family, even if it meant going against the patriarch. The longtime friend may return now that he has “proven” Geoffrey incorrect by withdrawing from the contest to better support his family.
The home manager’s return, however, is unknown. He might return if one of the Banks’ children, or Will, gets into difficulty, or if the murder of Rashad Denton (Eazy the Block Captain) comes back to haunt him. Uncle Phil may also require Geoffrey’s assistance because he will be running the house with Vivian presumably taking the fellowship.
Vivian and Reid Get a Little Too Close.
Reid (Michael Ealy), the gallery owner, took an interest in Vivian’s (Cassandra Freeman) art and was instrumental in her picking up a paintbrush and getting back into painting. Uncle Phil wondered what was going on between the two after stepping in on them privately discussing in her art room and witnessing Reid bid on the piece.
As a result, he abruptly halted their talk at an out-of-town gallery, placing their relationship under strain. Vivian accepted the fellowship after withdrawing from the district attorney campaign and visited with Reid to thank him.
She also urged that they continue to collaborate. Reid’s fascination with Vivian appears to extend beyond her work, therefore there’s a chance he’ll try to cross the line. If he does, she might have to abandon her passion once more.
In Season 2 of ‘bel-air,’ Carlton and Lisa Reconcile.
Will’s cousin Carlton (Olly Sholotan) dated his family friend Lisa before moving to Bel-Air (Simone Joy Jones). It didn’t work out, apparently because he used narcotics to cope with his anxiousness.
Carlton overheard her express getting tired of having to tiptoe around Will’s emotions during a talk with him. Lisa and Will finally bonded over the loss of a parent figure and began dating before breaking up when she found out why he moved from Philadelphia.
Carlton struggled with it at first, but he eventually got over it since he didn’t want to have a decades-long quarrel with his cousin as their mothers had. In the series finale, when Will flees after feeling betrayed by the Banks, Carlton goes to Lisa’s house to hunt for him.
The lacrosse player became upset when discussing how strongly he wanted Will to return, and the two hugged. Because Carlton claimed to have flushed his medicines, he may be able to better regulate his anxiousness. If it was the reason for their breakup, the two may find their way back together.
Ashley Finds a Female Companion.
Banks (Akira Akbar) went out to spend out with her crush until Geoffrey discovered her and brought her home before exposing her interest to girls and males in a talk with her older sister Hilary (Coco Jones).
After learning that her love interest was attracted to Will, viewers have yet to see if anyone else has captured her attention. The program will most likely continue to explore her sexuality, and she may enter a romance in Season 2 of Bel-Air.
In Season 2 of ‘bel-air,’ Will Explores His Connection With His Father, Lou.
Will read the report about his father in the series finale and realized Lou had a difficult upbringing and ended up in prison. Will was enraged that his family had led him to believe his father had abandoned him, and he was eager to see him.
Lou’s heart softened as he disclosed that he had stayed away because of his visit to his father in jail, and they began to discuss his childhood.
When Lou began to speak adversely of his mother, though, the conversation veered to the left. Even if he and his father were on the verge of a fight, it’s possible that he still wants to get to know his father and decide for himself whether or not to shut him out. Peacock is streaming Bel-Air.
When Will the Second Season of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?
Bel-Air was originally commissioned for two seasons, which is great news for fans of this dramatic perspective on the Fresh Prince’s existence. In an exclusive conversation with Digital Spy, Olly Sholotan’s Carlton confirmed the news.
Sholotan’s Carlton is a more sophisticated and disturbed version of Alfonso Ribero’s silly, loveable Carlton from the 1990s, and he has high aspirations for his character’s future.
“I still believe that, despite where we left off in season one, Carlton has a lot of room to grow in terms of his connection with his Blackness and Will’s presence in Bel-Air.”
When we’ll be able to see this increase is still up in the air.
The first season premiered in February of this year, so we’re in for a long wait if it follows the same pattern.
