Tekashi69 NET WORTH

Obstacles to Success

Tekashi69’s money can be a bit of a mystery from month to month, to say the least. Sure, he’s inked record and concert deals worth millions of dollars. In addition, he has made a fortune from streaming royalties, largely as a result of the 20 million subscribers and more than 5 billion views on his YouTube channel.
After being sentenced to two years in prison, Tekashi’s career was effectively put to a halt.

Tekashi filed court paperwork in March 2022 claiming that he was in financial distress because his career had been on hiatus for two years and he was unable to work. When asked about his finances, he stated that he was receiving no royalties and was unable to make money through travel.

“I’m having a hard time making ends meet at the moment. My career has come to a grinding halt since I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to command the type of advances I was receiving before my incarceration.”

Two former associates filed the documents as part of a civil dispute. Furthermore, he said he would be “bankrupted” if the litigation went along as planned.

He posted the following Instagram video a month later, in which he flaunts several million dollars in cash and at least one million dollars worths of automobiles: Tekashi69

Early Life of 69

On May 8, 1996, Daniel Hernandez was born in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York. His parents are both Puerto Ricans, his mother from Mexico and him from Puerto Rico. He didn’t meet his father till the age of nine.

He had no idea that his father was still alive. In truth, Daniel Sr. was a heroin addict who had been sentenced to prison. To prove it, Daniel Sr. allegedly ripped up letters written from prison to his father, claiming that the mother’s family forbade him from visiting his son.

In the aftermath of Daniel’s stepfather’s shooting death in 2010, the family’s finances were even more precarious. Daniel needed to see a therapist to manage PSD and sadness as a result of the tragedy.

Around this time, he began misbehaving in school and was eventually expelled in 8th grade. To assist the family out financially, Daniel got a job at a grocery shop when he graduated from high school.

Career as a Rapper

At the age of sixteen, Daniel began rapping. In the bodega where Daniel worked, he met the CEO of a record label. This was an early opportunity for him. Peter “Righteous P” Rogers was the owner of Hikari-Ultra, a musical company. When Daniel started publishing his own music, Peter pushed him to do so.

An album called “69” was launched in 2014 as his debut single. That year, he’d put out a slew of other songs. Dan continued to release music under the Tekashi 6ix9ine moniker for another three years, earning him some respect in the underground rap community.

Success

In 2018, Tekashi69 debuted with the mixtape Day69. His first single, “Gummo,” was certified Gold on the Billboard Hot 100 and climbed to the top of the U.S. Rap and R&B/Hip-Hop charts.

Also, 6IX9INE’s track “Kooda” has been certified Gold and climbed to the top of the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart and the Billboard Hot 100, respectively. Rapper Fetty Wap and A Boogie wit da Hoodie collaborated on his track “Keke,” which peaked at number 20 in the US, R&B/hip-hop at number 22, and the Billboard Hot 100 at number 43.

The Net Worth of Tekashi69

Social media has been used by 6IX9INE to boast about a number of record and management deals. In a now-deleted Instagram post, he claimed to have signed a $7.5 million record deal in January 2018.

He then claimed a month later that he had secured a $15 million management contract with Birdman’s RICH GANG firm. He claimed to have signed a $4.9 million endorsement deal with a headphone company around a month later. No one we spoke to in the music industry has any evidence that any of these deals are even somewhat true.

The Deal Valued at $10 Million
Tekashi’s record deal with 10K Projects was confirmed in October of this year. Both English and Spanish albums will be part of the contract that is said to be valued at least $10 million.

Deal with GlobalStreamNow

It was reported in July 2020 by Tekashii that he has agreed to a $5 million agreement with the live streaming firm GlobalStream Now. On September 5, 2020, a single virtual performance will be held as part of the agreement.

Legal Ramifications

It’s no secret that Tekashi69 has a history of running from the law. His guilty plea for felony child pornography was made in 2015, and he was sentenced to two years in prison. To avoid registering as a sex offender, he was put on probation for three years and was not required to complete his GED.

In the end, he failed his GED. He was detained in Houston’s Galleria mall in July of last year on suspicion of choking someone he had previously been accused of assaulting.

A year later, he was arrested on allegations of firearms, drugs, and racketeering. He agreed to testify against the Nine Trey Bloods gang in order to avoid a possible 47-year prison sentence. September 2019 was the month in which he took the stand.

According to his testimony, the Nine Trey Bloods Gang gave him the opportunity to pretend to be a member as long as he contributed financially to the organization. After the debut of his song “Gummo,” he began to earn an average of $60,000 per month from YouTube royalties and live performance fees.

He pleaded guilty to federal charges in December 2019 as part of an agreement with prosecutors.

Tekashi was sentenced to merely 13 months in prison because of his cooperation with the judge. The life sentences of the prisoners he testified against are at stake.

The COVID-19 virus was making its way through the jail system and he requested an early release on March 22, 2020. On April 2, the administration did not protest to his release. In August 2020, he was supposed to be released from prison.

Release

His new song “Gooba” and accompanying music video were released on May 8th. For the biggest 24-hour debut of any hip-hop video on YouTube, this video soon surpassed the record. The video garnered 40 million views in the first 24 hours. Eminem’s “Killshot” set a new one-day hip-hop record of 38 million downloads in 2018.

There were almost 150 million views in just one week for “Gooba”.

Tekashi69 held an Instagram live the same day, on May 8th. The Instagram live record was smashed by more than 1.7 million individuals, with more than 2 million people tuning in at the same time.

Tekashi said that he made $2 million with “Gooba” in less than a week from YouTube ad money, Spotify royalties, and other sources of income. He also stated that he would contribute 10% of the revenues to a charity of his choice.

How Much Money Does Tekashi69 Have?

It’s no secret that Tekashi 6ix9ine is one of the most controversial rappers in the world.

The charges against him were dropped after he pleaded guilty to criminal child molestation. A year later, he was arrested on counts ranging from racketeering and narcotics possession to conspiracy to murder.

Tekashi was given a two-year sentence reduction in exchange for his cooperation in the prosecution of his former gang members. House arrest has been placed on him as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced his early release.

It’s hard to believe that Teskashi has only been in the business for so long. He is said to have secured a number of lucrative appearance and contract deals that could total tens of millions of dollars in total. In the following paragraph, we’ll go into greater detail about Tekashi’s money.
