Selena Gomez was born on July 22, 1992, in Grand Prairie, Texas. Amanda Dawn (Mandy) Cornett, a former stage actress, is her mother’s stepmother, and Ricardo Joel Gomez, her father. Selena’s mother was just sixteen years old when she gave birth to her.
