Fans all over the world will be able to watch the new episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War when the anime is released in October 2022.
Bleach’s final arc was first said to be in the works as part of a project to celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary. This means that Bleach will adapt the Thousand-Year Blood War story arc from Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga series for Season 17. This means the anime will finish adapting the Bleach manga’s ending.
News about the Weekly Shonen Jump broke on December 16, 2021. It said that the new Bleach anime will start airing in the fall of 2022. An official announcement was made at the Jump Festa 2022 event about the release date of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War during that time.
Bleach manga and the Bleach 2022 anime are very different.
The anime is based on the Bleach manga series written and drawn by Tite Kubo, an artist, and manga artist. It was in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, and the manga was called Bleach. Volume 74 ended with Bleach Chapter 686.
It was released by VIZ Media, a company in North America, to make the official English translation of Bleach. There was a new issue of the English Bleach back in October 2018.
The anime followed the manga’s story up until Episode 64 when a lot of new anime story arcs were added to give Kubo more time to write new manga chapters.
Episode 110 was the last one of these “filler” episodes. After that, the anime kept using filler a lot over the years. 128 through 137, and Episodes 170 through 181, as well as Episodes 265 and 311–342, were all “filler.”
You might not expect an anime series to have this much filler material, so reading the Bleach manga will be different than reading the show’s show. Bleach Season 16 came to an end by adopting the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc, which ran from manga chapters 424 to 479.
Episodes 480 through 686 of the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War arc will be shown in Season 17. Probably, the anime won’t use too many filler episodes this time around. Story of Bleach Season 17
