When The Flight Attendant featuring Kaley Cuoco premiered on HBO back in 2020, it was only a matter of time until it made its way to Sky five months later. The series begins with Kaley’s character Cassie, an alcoholic flight attendant, waking up next to the dead body of a customer she went on a date with after they arrived in Thailand, based on the Chris Bohjalian book of the same name.

Given the massive conclusion and subsequent Golden Globe nominations, we’re not shocked that the program was extended for a second season so soon after its debut. It was tough not to keep pushing play the next episode as she tried to piece together the night and clear her identity. When Is the Second Season of the Flight Attendant Coming Out?

HBO Max has announced the release date for The Flight Attendant in the United States. Sky Max and NOW have stated that they will be streaming it in May, which means that UK fans will have to wait longer. We’ll let you know as soon as they’ve confirmed something more precise.

Who Will Appear in the Second Season of the Flight Attendant?

This time around, we’re hoping to see a return of fellow flight attendant Megan (Rosie Perez), lawyer Annie (Zosia Mamet), and her brother Davey, as well as Cuoco as Cassie (T.R. Knight).

In addition, there will be a few new faces to meet. Well known as Catwoman, Sharon Stone will play Cassie’s mother in the upcoming second season, which premieres in January 2022. According to Entertainment Weekly, she’ll portray Lisa Bowden as an “estranged” parent who lacks “any compassion or goodwill to offer her daughter after a lifetime of dealing with her alcoholism.” Ooh.

When Was the Second Season of the Flight Attendant Announced?

One day after the final episode of The Flight Attendant aired, HBO announced that a second season would premiere in December 2020. When asked about the excellent reception to the program, Cuoco exclaimed, “I’m thrilled of the entire crew behind its success.” You can’t even imagine how happy I am right now!

What Can We Expect From Season 2 of the Flight Attendant?

Cuoco says a “new journey” awaits Cassie in season two, while HBO says the series will be a “new chapter” for the character. Season 2 will be like “a new Hitchcock movie for Cassie to wander into,” according to showrunner Steve Yockey.

Cuoco teased the new series by saying that Cassie would be trying to get sober and focus on the CIA’s recent interest in her. Cassadee was quoted as saying: “She’s going to strive to live a sober life while still being who she was,” in an interview with Variety in August 2021:

What Can We Expect From Season 2?
