In this Japanese manga series, Masamune-Revenge Kun’s (Hepburn: Masamune-Kun no Ribenji) is a revenge story written by Hazuki Takeoka and drawn by Tiv. From October 2012 to June 2018, the series was serialized in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Rex magazine in Japan. In the United States, the series is licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment. From January to March 2017, Silver Link broadcast an anime television series adaptation. Season two has been announced.
Plot
One day, Aki Adagaki mercilessly rejected Masamune Makabe and gave him the moniker “Pig’s Foot” because of his overweight frame; he was devastated. Masamune changed his identity and started dieting and working out every day in order to become a fit and gorgeous, though conceited, high school student in order to avenge his tormentor. To extract retribution for his betrayal, he plans to entice Aki into falling in love with him and then humiliate her by denying their relationship. Yoshino Koiwai, Aki’s classmate and servant, appears to know Masamune’s moniker as well. Masamune ends up allying with Yoshino.

Is It Worth Your Time?
The first season of Masamune Kun No Revenge had an IMDb rating of 6.4/10 and a rotten tomato score of 69%. Regardless, it’s a fantastic show. It’s a good mix of humor and romance, and there are a lot of plot twists. Masamune’s attempts to avenge Aki and finally fall in love with each other are entertaining to see. We’ll find out whether Masamune will seek vengeance on Aki because she’s fallen in love with him or if she’s just playing with him, or will the tale depicts their love.

Dates for the Second Season of Revenge
Season 2 of Masamune Kun No Revenge has yet to be officially announced. It has, however, been verified by various sources on the internet for season 2. Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger, therefore we’re expecting a second season. Furthermore, because just six manga volumes were adapted for season 1, the likelihood of a second season is increased. On the other hand, most animated series take a long time to follow up their first installment. It’s also possible that the delay is caused by the Covid- 19 epidemic.
