The Sixth Season of The Last Kingdom
Season 6 of The Last Kingdom will be replaced with movies based on Cornwell’s final novels in the series, rather than television episodes. According to The Last Kingdom’s official Twitter account, filming for Seven Kings Must Die started on January 31.
The running time of the film is two and a half hours. Final Saxon Stories books, War of the Wolf, Sword Of Kings, and War Lord are all now in development for Seven Kings Must Die according to Netflix. No information about the performers has been released yet, however, Alexander Dreymon is anticipated to reprise his role as Uhtred. As of this writing, Netflix hasn’t specified when the film will be released, although the studio expects it to be released in the first half of 2023.
