The debut date for the second season of Made in Abyss has been planned for July 2022, although the precise day has not yet been announced. First confirmed following the third film, it will be named Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun and will be released in 2017.
Because of this, we can all look forward to another season of Made in Abyss, which is set to launch shortly. As soon as we know more about the second season, we’ll let you know.
When Can We Expect the Second Season of Made in Abyss?
The second season of Made in Abyss will air in 2022, according to an announcement made in May of that year. First, we didn’t have an exact release date, and knowing how the market works, we predicted that it wouldn’t be released until the Spring 2022 anime season, or potentially even later in the year.

“The Golden City” tale from chapter 49 of the Ganja Arc, which is also likely to be adapted, is based on the second season’s title, but this has yet to be verified.
In this episode, Ganja and Gaburoon confront a bunch of interference units that are human-sized, unlike Gaburoon. Interference units can see them, but they cannot converse with them.
Ganja is loyal to the organization because he believes they are trustworthy. The party chooses to flee for their lives as an unknown entity seizes one of the interference units. It’s not long until Ganja has to regulate the interference units.
Cast and Crew:
Made in Abyss Season 2 features several new characters, but the whole cast and protagonist VAs from Season 1 return. There are debuts for Misaki Kuno, Yuka Terasaki, Hiroaki Hirata, and Mitsuki Saiga.
We’ve made a few changes to the team, including the addition of some new individuals and the reorganization of others. This season’s prop designer Takeshi Takakura has been appointed to design leader and Takumi Sakura has been promoted to the role of prop designer.
Character designer Yuka Karoda and art director Teru Sekiguchi are new members to the team. New editor Masayuki Kurosawa joins a music production team that also includes Kadokawa.
Bringing back the old cast while also adding new characters is a wonderful thing about Made in Abyss Season 2. Rather than having too many chefs in the kitchen ruining the soup, this should ideally improve everything that made S1 great.
