Homura Kawamoto is the author of the Japanese manga series Kakegurui. Tru Naomura is responsible for the series’ drawings. Japan’s MAPPA adapted the manga and broadcast the animated version from July 1 to September 23, 2017. In 2018, a live-action drama version of the novel was released.
This year, a second season of the anime, named “Kakegurui,” ran from January 8 to March 26, 2019. It is one of the most popular Netflix anime adaptations, adapted from the same-titled Japanese manga. The last episode of Kakegurui season 2 aired on March 31, 2019, and according to our internal sources, the season 3 release date has been set for September 2022. However, it has not yet been verified.
The first two seasons of the series were released two years apart in 2022. As a result, the third season should have been released in 2021 by that reasoning, but it wasn’t.
