On December 1st, 1967, in New York City, Nestor Garbon Carbonell was born. His family has strong Spanish ties, even though he is an American citizen. Carbonell reappeared in the last installment of the Dark Knight trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, after a string of TV appearances in shows including Psych, Ringer, and Wilfred. He returned to the role of Mayor Anthony Garcia.
- Nestor Carbonell’s other major achievement was landing the part of Sheriff Alex Romero in the hit television series Bates Motel, which he played for four seasons until the show’s conclusion. He was upgraded from a minor position to a recurring cast member by the end of the series, despite his initial appearance being rather minor. Several episodes of Bates Motel were also directed by him.
