On the Set of Greta Gerwig’s Upcoming Film, Watch Margot Robbie as a Pink Barbie-
While filming her live-action Barbie movie, Margot Robbie was pictured in all pink on the set in Los Angeles, directed by Oscar contender Greta Gerwig. In between shots, the actress sipped a cup of iced coffee and wore a pair of bell-bottomed leggings with star decorations at the bottom.
At CinemaCon in April, Warner Bros. Pictures unveiled Robbie, 31, as the famous Mattel doll for the first time. In the picture, Robbie as Barbie is shown smiling and leaning forward in a pink Chevrolet Corvette convertible while wearing a blue-and-white polka-dotted headpiece and matching striped halter top.

Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken in the film, made his on-screen debut last week. The star posed with his platinum blonde hair and shredded denim jacket to show off his abs. Will Ferrell, Kate McKinnon and Simu Liu will join Issa Rae, America Ferrera, Michael Cera, and Kate McKinnon in the film.

“People often hear Barbie and think, ‘I know what that movie is going to be,’ and then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they’re like, ‘Oh, well, maybe I don’t…'” Robbie said in British Vogue last year.
She went on to say that the role “comes with a lot of baggage,” given the controversy surrounding the doll in the past. The Oscar-nominated actress said the trip brought back many memories. That said, there are a number of intriguing ways to take on the challenge.
July 21, 2023, is the release date of Barbie.
