“Expat” may be the next title Taraji P. Henson gets.

In an interview with People, the actress and voice of Minions: The Rise of Gru tells the magazine that she may soon be saying goodbye to the United States.

In an interview with PEOPLE Every Day, she says she’s contemplating moving to another country because of the current political and social atmosphere in the United States. “With age, you begin to lose interest in battling. I’m worn out.”

Her “pressures of being Black” and her continual quest for justice and peace in America are what have worn her down, she says. “To be honest, I really don’t want to do another hashtag… I battled, I sang, and I marched my way to victory. I’m worn out.”

For Henson, a 51-year-old woman who lives in a distant country, life is easier. She adds, “I want to travel to a place where there is no animosity.” “I want nothing more than to exist in the present moment. And be joyful, too. To be called “Bella” every day, sip wine, and swat flies on the porch is all I desire. Stress-free.”

Because of her age and position in life and work, she believes she’s deserved this great circumstance.

“When you reach the age of 50, it’s as if you’ve left your f—-s behind. I’ve done a great deal, and I want to go on with my plans.” She concludes, “When I say, “I’m quitting, and I’m going to tour the globe,” I can do it. It feels liberating.”

As a result, she still has a number of professional ambitions to pursue. Henson, who portrays Belle Bottom in Minions: The Rise of Gru, adds, “I’ve always wanted to play a villain.” “In the end, I still want to be a Marvel villain, but I’m content to be Belle Bottom. I like her because she’s jazzy and has an enormous afro.”
