Shaquille O’Neal has said that he is ‘Ready to Go Right Now’ and purchase his former team, the Orlando Magic, from the NBA.
He began his NBA career with the Orlando Magic, and now Shaquille O’Neal has his eyes set on the team’s ownership.
As recently as this past week, O’Neal and former Magic colleague Dennis Scott made it known that they’d be interested in owning the franchise if it ever went up for sale.
That brand is still owned by O’Neal, and if DeVos family members want to sell it to him, “we’re ready to go right now,” he added.
O’Neal’s “billionaire buddies,” including Scott, who was a guest on the program, helped pay the acquisition by allowing Scott and O’Neal “control the show.”
“Dennis, the funds have been received. You don’t have to be concerned about your finances, “O’Neal was the one to speak out. “DeVos family, if you’re selling the Orlando Magic, sell it to someone who will take it to the next level. That’s us, the group in the photo.”
RDV Sports, the company Richard DeVos founded after purchasing the Magic in 1991 for $85 million, now owns the Magic. Dan Devos, the current chairman of RDV Sports, is the son of Devos.
