Missing 6-year-old Elle Ragin from Minnesota as her mother appears to have committed suicide.

Missing since her mother’s death at home on Saturday afternoon, a 6-year-old daughter from Minnesota has been reported missing.

When deputies arrived at Lisa Wade’s Northfield home in the 600 block of Maple Brook Ct., they found her “dead from an apparent suicide,” the Rice County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. Elle Ragin, a three-year-old girl, has not been found by authorities.

The disappearance of the youngster is considered to be linked to the death of her mother. According to a statement, “Police suspect Wade was engaged in Elle’s disappearance before she took her own life.”

Police stated in a statement to PEOPLE on Sunday that they are “processing the family home and vehicle for signs of her abduction and have undertaken searches of the area with canine teams, drones, and the State Patrol Helicopter with negative results.”

Anyone with knowledge about Ragin’s whereabouts should call Northfield Police at 507-645-4477 and “share that information,” officials are begging.

At 3 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 45 pounds according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Ragin is a suspect in the inquiry. Hair color and eye color are brownish-brown.

The agency made a statement on Facebook saying that it believes the youngster is in danger and identifying Wade as her mother.
