On the two-year anniversary of Naya Rivera’s death, Glee co-star Heather Morris is remembering her.

Her on-screen love interest, Santana Lopez, and best buddy Rivera, who played her on-screen best friend, were all smiles in a series of old images Morris shared.

It had the following caption from the actress, 35: “My angel is with me every day. Every every day, I miss you so much.” Morris also shared a homage to Rivera from co-star Jenna Ushkowitz on her Instagram Story, which featured a photo of the late actress dancing the night away.

Her left arm was tattooed in tribute to Rivera, who died one year ago, on Morris’ one-year anniversary. He penned “Tomorrow is not promised” in script on a piece of paper that she found.

Her 6-year-old son Josey graduated from kindergarten on the first anniversary of Rivera’s death. To commemorate his son’s achievement, Ryan took to social media, where he shared a series of images of him in his graduation attire, which included a white button-down shirt underneath an acid wash pair of jeans, a gray blazer, and a bow tie.

A boat journey on California’s Lake Piru with her then-4-year-old kid led to Rivera’s disappearance in July 2020. Her body was found five days after she had died.

In her final moments, Rivera saved her son’s life, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

“After speaking with her son, we’ve learned that Naya and her son shared a swim in the lake when they were traveling.

He told her about Naya helping him get into the boat, and how she gave him a boost from behind “Bill Ayub, the sheriff, remarked In an interview with investigators, he stated that he witnessed her fall under the water’s surface.

Also, Ayub offered their take on what might have transpired on the day she vanished. “The concept may be that the boat started drifting, it was unanchored, and that she summoned enough energy to bring her son back on the boat, but not enough to save herself.”
