Lisa Riddle, Riddle’s Ex-Wife, Announces Their Divorce in An Emotional Instagram Post.
After more than a decade of marriage, Lisa Riddle disclosed on social media this weekend that she and WWE star Matt Riddle have separated.
On Saturday, Lisa shared a photo of the family including her husband and three kids with the caption, “It’s been precisely one month since the divorce was finalized by the judge. My family and I have embraced our newfound freedom and are very appreciative of everyone’s support.”
Lisa announced on Twitter that she and her husband had broken up the previous year. In 2020, while still active in indie wrestling, Riddle was accused of sexually abusing Candy Cartwright 2018. Though Riddle admitted the affair, he insisted that their relationship was voluntary.
Cartwright had filed a lawsuit against Riddle, the WWE, and former Evolve president Gabe Sapolsky in July of 2016, but ultimately decided to abandon the case.
Riddle, along with Randy Orton, has had a lot of success in the past year as the RK-Bro tag team. The duo was originally scheduled to defend both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The Usos at WrestleMania Backlash next week, but that match was scrapped in favor of a six-man tag battle pitting The Bloodline against Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, and Matt Riddle.

According to Lisa’s most recent Instagram post, the WWE star Riddle has recently split his wife.
They tied the knot in 2011, and now they’re raising a brood of three.
After eleven years of marriage, they finalized their split. Presently based out of Paris, France, the King of Bros is performing with WWE all throughout Europe.
A month has gone since Lisa Riddle’s divorce from the RAW Tag Team Champion was formalized, she revealed on Instagram earlier today. She concluded with a message from the heart, in which she expressed gratitude to all who had stood by her side.
Presently, Riddle is among WWE’s most beloved superstars.

In his time on WWE’s main roster, the King of Bros has accomplished a lot. In the middle of the year 2020, he made his way to WWE SmackDown and has remained a mainstay on the show ever since. While a member of RK-Bro, he won the RAW Tag Team Championship twice.
As one half of RK-Bro with Randy Orton, he is enjoying arguably the best stretch of his career. The two have been working together for the WWE for approximately a year, and they have become rather popular with the audience.
When RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre face up against The Bloodline at WrestleMania Backlash, expect fireworks. Before last week’s episode of SmackDown, they were set to defend their tag team titles against The Usos at the same event.
