Early Life:
Vijay Yesudas, an Indian playback singer and actor, was born on March 23, 1979. Over 1000 film tunes have been recorded by him. Vijay works mostly in the Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil cinema industries, as well as Kannada and Hindi. His father, K. J. Yesudas, is a well-known vocalist.
Vijay made his singing debut in the Malayalam film Millennium Stars, which had music by Vidyasagar and was released in 2000. For the songs “Kolakkuzhal Vili Ketto” in Nivedyam (2007), “Akaleyo Nee” in Grandmaster and “Mazhakondu Mataram” in Spirit (2012), and “Poomuthole” in Joseph (2013), Vijay Yesudas received three Kerala State Film Awards for Best Singer (2018). Career:
In the early years of 1997, Vijay Yesudas began studying Carnatic music. He is well-known for songs written by Yuvan Shankar Raja and performed by him. Other composers with whom he has worked include Dakshinamoorthy Swami, Ilaiyaraja, A. R. Rahman, Raveendran, Hamsalekha, Deva, Ouseppachan, Vidyasagar, Mani Sharma, M. M. In the year 2000, Vijay made his playback debut in Vidyasagar’s Malayalam film Millennium Stars. For Nivedyam’s “Kolakkuzhal Vili Ketto,” he got the Kerala State Film Award for Best Singer (2007). In the 2010 Malayalam film Avan, Vijay made his acting debut.
For “Akaleyo Nee” in Grandmaster and “Mazhakondu Mataram” in Spirit, he got his second Kerala State Film Award for Best Singer in 2013. (2012). Vijay’s performance in the Malayalam film Premam, in which he sang “Malare,” went viral in 2015.
He also had another popular song, “Hemnathamen Kaikumbili” from Kohinoor, which was widely circulated immediately after the video’s release. He also starred as the antagonist in the commercially successful Tamil film Maari that same year. He was praised for his performance. He has 178 Malayalam and 118 Tamil songs under his belt.
Life in General
In 2013, Vijay married Darshana.
On Valentine’s Day 2002 in Dubai, Vijay met his future wife Darshana during a music event. He married Darshana in 2007 in Trivandrum after five years of courting. Ammeya, their daughter, and Avyan, their son, are the couple’s only children.
