Attorneys for a Divorce have Reportedly been Retained by Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen.

After much speculation from the media and their fans, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have apparently contacted divorce attorneys to end their marriage.

The New York Post was the first to report that the couple had retained attorneys and were beginning to work out the practical and emotional aspects of a divorce settlement. Networks like CNN and NBC covered the news as well. The couple’s representatives did not return calls seeking comment.

Rumors About Their Divorce

The Post has been reporting on rumors of marital strife between Ms. Bündchen and Mr. Brady in recent months. Many fans believe the couple argued about Brady’s choice to return to football after a 22-year hiatus.

In February, at age 44, Mr. Brady declared his retirement from the NFL. However, in March, he revealed that he would be returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a 23rd N.F.L. season.

Since they started dating more than 15 years ago, the public’s attention has been riveted on the famous couple, who have now been married for 13 years.

The pairing of the supermodel and the famous athlete has become a stereotype of the glamorous celebrity couple. While the employment of attorneys isn’t always indicative of a divorce filing, fans have long been fixated on the specifics of Mr. Brady’s personal life and how they relate to his legendary football career.

This couple is a power couple in every sense of the word, with two superstars at the top of their game in their respective fields.

With seven Super Bowl victories (six with the New England Patriots) and the most passing touchdowns and yards in NFL history, Mr. Brady is largely regarded as football’s greatest quarterback. It was 2022 and he had already risen to the top of Forbes’ list of the highest paid NFL players.

Ms. Bündchen has gone well beyond her runway modeling roots to become a household name. And there she has her own numbers:

According to a passage from her 2018 book “Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life,” she had been on 1,200 magazine covers, 450 fashion editorials, and walked in approximately 500 fashion shows as of 2018. She was considered the world’s best-paid (and richest) model in 2016.

Both Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have Retained Legal Counsel In Preparation for their Impending Divorce.

After weeks of living apart, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have contacted divorce counsel and are “exploring their options” with respect to their marriage, a source close to the pair told CNN on Tuesday.

According to a CNN report from earlier this month, the seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback and his model wife, Bündchen, have been experiencing “marital troubles.” Brady presently plays quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“Living separately,” a source close to Bündchen told CNN in September of the couple who married in 2009.

In February, Brady announced his retirement from the NFL, but he has since changed his mind. In August, he missed 11 days of training camp so he could “handle with personal stuff,” as his head coach Todd Bowles put it.

After first quitting this past winter, Bündchen, 42, expressed “concerns” to Elle magazine in an interview published last month.

“I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” Bündchen told the magazine. “This is a pretty harsh sport.” I’m sure we’ve had that conversation numerous times. However, I believe that in the end, each individual must make a choice that is satisfactory to [them]. Just like everyone else, he needs to do what makes him happy.
