Recap of Chainsaw Man Episode 4
Denji is able to kill Bat Devil mercilessly in order to save Power and Meowy. Power questions why Denji protected her after she tried to feed the Bat Devil with him.
Power gives in to Denji’s request to touch her chest as promised, but as soon as he gets close, Leech Devil pounces and chews off his hand.
Denji quickly transforms into the Chainsaw Devil, but because of the blood loss, he can only fully shift by developing a Chainsaw on his head.
Denji sacrifices everything to fight the Leech Devil despite being weak because he wants to touch a woman’s breast. He is able to subdue her for a while, but the Leech Devil eventually gains the upper hand. Just as she is about to kill Denji, Aki shows there and uses his devil power to bite the Leech Devil off, killing her. Later on, a blood transfusion also helps Denji’s missing hand come back to life.
Aki reveals to Denji how he and Power might be eliminated for disobeying the rules while they are in the hospital. He then informs Denji that in order to be spared, he would have to follow his rules, and Denji concurs. Makima accepts after Aki convinces her to let them live as a result.
However, Makima instructs Power and Denji to reside in Aki’s house so that she may watch over them. Denji is pleased when Power reminds him of her pledge to him at the end of the episode.
