The divorce between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the British royal family has been finalized.
Variety has been informed by Buckingham Palace that the pair will not be returning to active duty in the Royal Family.
Queen Elizabeth II “has written stating that in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not feasible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service,” the statement continues.
This means that the Duke and Duchess’s honorary military positions and Royal patronages will be returned to Her Majesty and dispersed to other active members of the Royal Family. Everyone is devastated by the Duke and Duchess’s choice, but they continue to be very cherished members of the family.
Why did Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Divorce Each Other?
“As evidenced by their work over the past year, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain committed to their duty and service to the United Kingdom and around the world,” read a statement released by the couple’s spokesperson.
“They have offered their continued support to the organizations they have represented regardless of their official role.” To be of service is within the reach of each of us. To serve others is a universal value.
Given that Prince Harry and Markle moved to the United States last year and have launched high-profile media careers, their decision comes as little surprise. However, an official confirmation was expected after the 12-month review period that was agreed upon with the Queen following the couple’s shocking announcement last winter.
They stated on their now-defunct Sussex Royal website that they wanted “to continue to represent and assist Her Majesty The Queen but in a more limited capacity, whilst not drawing on the Sovereign Grant.
” That clearly wasn’t feasible, at least not on the official level. The statement made on Friday at Buckingham Palace is thought to be the result of discussions between Prince Harry and other members of the Royal Family.

The Marriage of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry May Be Over in Two Years?
After being married for four years, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have gone through a lot together.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still loyal to one other despite the many negative comments made about their relationship. Recently, however, it has been claimed that the couple’s marriage would soon end in divorce.
An author has speculated that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would divorce in 2024.
Royal author Tom Bower told Page Six that Meghan Markle may be unhappy with her marriage to Prince Harry in two more years. To prepare for this eventuality, she has the plan to negotiate with King Charles.
“Many Londoners now believe that [Markle] is sick of [Harry]. It is speculated that in two years she would decide, “This is enough,” and try to work out a divorce settlement with [King] Charles. And that, to be honest, I have no idea “His words.

In the Long Run, Meghan Markle Will Pursue a Different Line of Work.
Bower said that, for the time being at least, Markle and Prince Harry are still committed to each other. Markle, though, would eventually require a job change away from promoting Brand Sussex.
“I believe [their marriage] is holding them together at the time. Brand Sussex is promoted by their shared goal of causing as much damage to the royal family as possible. Unfortunately, it’s a lost cause. In other words, you can only speak so much before the benefits begin to decrease. And she’ll have to find a new line of work, “His words.
An Author Makes Jokes About Meghan Markle Dating Elon Musk
Tina Brown, author of a series of books about the British royal family, has even quipped that Markle could date Elon Musk if the Tesla CEO were available. She said this after revealing that Markle and Prince Harry are on the hunt for a larger residence.
“Their $14 million mansion in Montecito is a shack when compared to the mansions of their neighbors. Sure, and eventually she may want something besides a fresh dwelling. I will conclude by saying that Elon Musk is still unattached “her words (via The Telegraph).
In June, a suspect page published a cryptic headline claiming that Prince Harry and Markle had already signed their divorce papers, fueling rumors that the couple was separating.
However, USA Today checked the report’s claims and found that they were false. That there is no proof that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed their purported divorce papers was emphasized by the magazine. The public is aware that the couple is still together because of the royal family.
