Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Release Date: Here’s Check Its Trailer, Plot, Casting and More

The manga Tokyo Revengers by Ken Wakui was adapted into an anime that became a great hit. The premiere of Tokyo Revengers Season 2 was announced during Jump Festa 2022. A second season of The Tokyo Revengers is planned for January 2023.

Tokyo Revengers will return in the Winter 2023 anime season to adapt the “Christmas Showdown arc” of Wakui’s original manga series, as teased in a recent promotional video.

Here’s Why We Thought Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers Wouldn’t Premiere until 2023.

There has been no official confirmation of a specific release date for Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers from Kodansha, Studio LIDEN FILMS, or any other entity involved in the production of the anime as of the previous update.

The Second Season of Tokyo Revenger’s Story

We’ve established that the Moebius and Valhalla arcs were adapted into the first season. This means the Black Dragons arc, Tenjiku arc, and Final arc remain to be adapted.

Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Release Date

As we’ve said, the “Christmas Showdown” arc will be adapted for Season 2. Here is a synopsis of the manga’s storyline in broad strokes.

Preview for Season 2 of “Tokyo Revengers”

Knowing this new knowledge, you can safely assume that the lack of a trailer for Tokyo Revengers Season 2 is due to the fact that filming has not yet begun on the show. However, a PV trailer was published in December, and you can see it here.

Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Release Date

Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers is expected to consist of about 12 episodes. Just the Christmas Showdown storyline has to be adapted for season two. I really doubt there will be a two-course difference. Even if the quality of the second season is much lower than the first, a year is not enough time to develop a decent two-hour season 2.
