Synopsis of the Anime, “Genshin Impact”
Teyvat, the fictional setting of the role-playing game Genshin Impact, consists of seven great nations: Liyue, Mondstadt, Inazuma, Fontaine, Sumeru, Natlan, and Snezhnaya, and each is ruled by a different deity.
Story-wise, the game follows a set of twins from separate planets who come in Teyvat and try to flee after learning that the nation of Khaenri’ah is under a devastating assault.
A deity, however, takes one twin and locks away the other. The “Traveler,” the twin who had been shut away, awoke 500 years later and met a friend named Paimon; the two set off on a quest to locate the other twin.

How many Installments of the Genshin Impact anime are planned?
Given that the new anime is being billed as a “long-term cooperative effort,” we should expect numerous seasons of Genshin Impact.
It is currently unknown if subsequent seasons will continue the storyline of the first season. Waiting on HoYoverse and Ufotable for updates is understandable given the potential for spinoffs and OVAs.
