Demon Slayer Season 3 Release Date

Fans of Demon Slayer have had a busy couple of years, and 2023 doesn’t look like it will slow down at all. Season 3 of Demon Slayer will premiere on TV and streaming platforms as weekly episodes sometime in April 2023, the show’s official website revealed,

making it a part of the spring tour. There has been no announcement regarding when Season 3 of Kimetsu No Yaiba would be made available to the public. The wait is shorter for diehard fans, though.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Plot

We now know that the ninth arc of the original manga, titled “Swordsmith Village,” will be the primary story point of season three. It’s worth noting that the Demon Slayer manga officially concluded in 2020, creating a rare opportunity for anime viewers to learn (approximately) what lies in store for Tanjiro and company in the years to come.

After Tanjiro and Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui’s victory over the demon siblings Gyutaro and Daki in the previous Entertainment District arc, we go right into the new arc set in the Swordsmith Village. The sole permanent loss in this epic encounter was Tanjiro’s demon-slaying sword.

In order to have Hotaru Haganezuka fix his sword, Tanjiro must travel to the Swordsmith Village in the upcoming third season of Demon Slayer. During their stay, Tanjiro and company will, without a doubt, face a host of demonic foes (including an Upper-Rank Six that splits themselves across multiple bodies). Fortunately, Muichiro Tokito of Mist Hashira steps in to deal with the situation.

The reason why Satoshi Hino (RengokuDemon )’s Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba became so popular around the world (via AnimeNewsNetwork). I’m delighted to hear that the charms of both Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Japanese animation have found fans far beyond Japan’s borders.

All people may identify with the show’s themes of family devotion, the value of life, and seizing every moment as they come. I count it as a great good fortune that all people everywhere have united in this feeling. Season three must maintain the progression of these major ideas if it is to prolong the show’s success.

Season 2 Ending Recap

The heroes of Season 2 of Demon Slayer, together with the sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, search the theater district for Tengen’s lost agents. They quickly learn that a demon has taken up covert residence in the area, and is exploiting the locals as puppets. With this, the show enters a brand-new genre, one that combines elements of action and detective fiction.

The second season culminates in a showdown between our heroes and the demon siblings Daki and Gyotaro. Their incredible teamwork and improvised tactics make them an insurmountable foe. And yet, the demon hunters emerge victorious, with no big casualties or setbacks. But this isn’t just an ordinary triumph.

Upper Moon Demon Daki was personally acquainted with Demon Slayer’s primary villain, Muzan Kibutsuji. Consequently, there could be severe repercussions related to the same. However, the season also revealed that Kagaya Ubuyashiki, leader of the Demon Slayer Association, is bedridden at the moment.

Additionally, not all Hashira are thrilled by the recent developments. Kyojuro Rengoku’s (the fire Hashira) death is still raw even now.

Even if the destruction of an Upper Moon demon is certainly cause for celebration, the DSA as a whole is not at its peak power right now.
