Is Bruised on Netflix Based on A Real Story?

Jackie, an MMA fighter who is featured in the movie “Bruised,” was formerly quite well-known, but she fell out of favor after losing four straight matches. She was in financial trouble and shared a home with her boyfriend and manager Desi. She used to perform housecleaning duties for a living.

  • She also had a traumatic background; her ex-boyfriend, with whom she had a son named Manny, was shot and murdered in an unfortunate occurrence. Manny used to live with Jackie’s mother since he was distraught about his father’s passing and kept mute.
  • Jackie’s return to the ring was Desi’s constant goal. He brought Jackie to a “Werewolf” underground battle where a fighter challenged her and she lost her cool. They both engaged in combat, but Jackie was outstanding and severely defeated the Werewolf!
  • Desi placed her under Bobbi’s instruction after realizing that she was still capable of fighting. In the meanwhile, she and her son were reconnected, and he moved in with her.
  • She enrolls her son in a school after realizing she has been neglecting her duties to him. In addition to encouraging Jackie to accept a contract with him, Bobbi was helping her get back into shape.
  • Desi was unhappy, and as their relationship deteriorated over time, Desi finally lost control and yelled obscenities at Jackie.
  • Jackie and her kid left the location and moved in at Angel’s house. When Jackie discovered that Desi was backbiting her, she had a panic attack and yelled at Manny. Manny ran away from his mother, but someone later found him and returned him to Angel.
  • Jackie made the decision to go back to training and put in a lot of effort for her impending fight after losing her kid yet again and being left with nowhere to go. She shared a home with Buddhakan, and they both had romantic relationships. She was being trained by Buddhakan day and night.
  •  When Jackie ultimately defeated Chavez, she returned to her son Manny and made a pledge to take better care of him and to get the two of them a house of their own. In the end, Manny was observed calling her mommy and genuinely acknowledging her as his mother.
  • All of the characters in Bruised are fictional and hypothetical, and the novel is not based on any actual events. No combatant has ever been involved in such an occurrence. The film is wholly an original work of fiction.
