This means that we may expect the Ragna Crimson anime to premiere in the year 2023. The animation production is being handled by Silver Link Studio. The international distribution rights have been licensed to Sentai Filmworks. This was announced by Sentai Filmworks at Anime Expo 2022. The release window for the anime based on the manga was revealed on Twitter by Ragna Crimson on August 19, 2022.

Ragna Crimson, Daiki Kobayashi’s manga series, debuted in 2017. There are a total of eleven volumes of this series, which was first serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker. The show is still airing and is now in its penultimate act! As to My Anime List, the manga adaptation of Ragna Crimson receives a 7.6/10.
Ragna Crimson Anime Release Date
At Anime Expo 2022, it was announced that the Ragna Crimson anime would premiere in the spring of 2023. The premiere date for the anime is currently unknown, but we have some good predictions for the eager fans out there.

Considering the program was announced between the end of the Fall 2022 anime season and the start of the Winter 2023 anime season. The premiere of the anime series is scheduled for sometime in the second half of 2023, perhaps between the summer and fall seasons of that year.
The movie Black Clover and the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen will both premiere that year. There are presently 11 volumes of the manga available, with more on the way. It’s possible that the next release may only consist of a single season (12–14 episodes). In the next months, information on the format and timetable will be made public.

The Plot of Ragna Crimson Anime
The novel takes place in a world of dragons and a “dragon god” from a medieval fantasy setting. Those who join the Dragon Hunter Guild and go on the quest for dragons are held in high esteem. Naturally hostile and predatory toward people, dragons are vulnerable to silver and sunlight.
There are those who dedicate their lives to learning how to kill dragons, and they are called Dragon Hunters. It can be done in two primary ways. The “Silver Aura” from a silver weapon is cold enough to freeze one’s blood. The other is to just kill them by chopping them down with a silver sword and then sunburning their bodies.
In order to collect their reward, Dragon Hunters need only report to their respective guilds. This tale follows a young guy named Ragna, who works as a Dragon Hunter. Because dragons killed his parents and everyone who took him in afterward, those in his community believe he is cursed.
Only Ragna made it out alive, leading his neighbors to dub him a “dragon lure.” Leonica, a young girl who happens to be the world’s strongest dragon hunter, saves Ragna one day. When Leonica learns that Ragna can attract dragons to him like a magnet, she convinces him to join her as a Hunter.
Ragna never showed much promise as a dragon hunter, so he opted to leave the job to his ally so that he may live more carefreely. Ragna initially mistakes Leonica for a male because of her boyish looks, but he eventually learns that she is, in fact, a young girl.

Ragna assists Leonica with everyday tasks like bathing and brushing her teeth since he thinks of her as his “little sister.” Ragna considers Leonica to be his “hero,” and he wants nothing more than to be of assistance to her. Ragna is concerned that he will no longer be able to accompany Leonica on her perilous dragon-hunting adventures because he is not a very strong Dragon Hunter.
Ragna Crimson Characters
Just three of the anime characters of Ragna Crimson have been introduced so far, but they certainly look like a promising bunch. The anime features the following main characters:
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Ragna
- Ayumu Murase as Crimson
- Inori Minase as Leonica
Silver Link Studios, who have produced such hits as My Next Life as a Villainess, The Misfit of the Demon Academy, Bofuri, and many more, are behind this new series as well. The anime was directed by Ken Takahashi, written and supervised by Deco Akao, and designed by Shinpei Aoki. The official poster and main image for the Ragna Crimson anime have been unveiled, and first impressions are positive.
Where Can I Read the Manga?
Japanese author and artist Daiki Kobayashi created the Ragna Crimson manga series. From March 2017 through March 2022, the manga ran in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker. As of March 2022,
