Season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, one of TLC’s most popular reality romance shows, has been an emotional roller coaster for everyone involved. Angela Deem went to Africa to open up about her husband, Michael Ilesanmi, while Andrei Castravet and his in-laws got physical.
And how could we forget Usman “Soja Boy” Umar and Kimberly Menzies? Since they first told people about their relationship in 2021, they’ve had their ups and downs. But things seem to be getting better for the couple as of late.
After Kim got down on one knee and asked Usman to marry her, Usman’s family was not happy about the idea. So, did they get married?
Do Usman and Kim get married in “90 Day Fiancé”?
As of this writing, there’s no sign that Usman and Kim ever make it to the altar. In fact, they may get in trouble with the law if they do. Usman’s mother may have given Kim her son’s hand in marriage, but she did so with a few conditions, one of which was a second wife.
“Since she has begged several times, I can see that she has a good attitude. “But I beg him to come home every three months and marry another girl here so I can have grandchildren,” Usman’s mother said in a confessional.
Kim agreed to the clause, but later, the two talked to a legal expert who told them that the United States government would not.
In the U.S., polygamy is against the law, so Usman would not get the two families that Kim had promised him. This makes things hard for the couple since Usman really wants to be a father.

Are Usman and Kimberly still together?
Even though their relationship didn’t look good after the Before the 90 Days tell-all in April 2022, it looks like the sparks are still going strong.
In October 2022, Kim posted a touching birthday message to SojaBoy on Instagram. “Happy Birthday Usman! I never thought my life would lead me to you. Thank you for always being there and loving me as I am.
You have been there for me and helped me through my hardest times and my best times. I hope I’ve made you as happy as you have made me. Nobody may understand what we have, but WE KNOW. I’ll love you for the rest of my life,” she wrote. “Happy birthday, my International Superstar, aka Sojaboy!!! I’ll love you always.”
Kim was planning to go back to Nigeria and propose to Usman against the wishes of both of their families. Jamal, Kim’s adult son, thought she was rushing into the relationship, but Usman’s mother would rather he be with a woman who can give her a grandchild.
Kim had said before that she was fine with Usman getting a second wife, but the San Diego native was adamant that she had to be his first, even though his family wanted to set him up with a younger woman.

How Does Kim Feel About Being in A Relationship with More than One Man?
People shared a sneak peek of the September 18 episode, in which Kim and Usman got into a heated argument after he asked her if she would let him get more wives.
Kim asked Usman’s friend KB about his life as a polygamist when she was in Nigeria. After KB told Usman that he has two wives and nine kids, Usman said, “You know, I could have nine kids, too. I don’t want to take too long, so why not add two more wives to the four you already have?”
Kim was clear that she didn’t like the plan. “No, that can’t be… “I can barely take care of one,” she said. “I don’t give a damn.”
Usman wasn’t ready to give up on the idea, so he said, “If I have four wives plus you—like, I have three more. If this one has twins at her first birth, the second one might have one or two more. Before you know it, I’ll have 10 in two or three years, and we’ll be done.”
“That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. “Look, we said one if I was okay with one,” Kim said. “Now we’re talking about three or four, no.”
In a confessional, Usman said that Kim’s answer shocked him. “For a Nigerian man, it’s not okay for Kimberly to swear and be rude, and for her to treat me like that,” he said. “She is so angry. I began to wonder if Kimberly really liked the idea of a second wife. She might have only said that to make me happy. Even though it looks like she can handle it, she doesn’t think she can.”
As they kept fighting, Kim finally had enough. She threw her milkshake at Usman and stormed out of the room.
Since then, they have stopped fighting and moved on, with Kim agreeing that SojaBoy can get another wife.
