The premiere date for Studio Orange’s remake of the 1998 action classic Trigun has been announced, along with a brand new key visual featuring the show’s protagonist, Vash The Stampede. Less than a month remains until the premiere of the new Trigun series, TRIGUN STAMPEDE, which is scheduled to air in the approaching winter of 2023.
The first three episodes of the new anime were screened at a special event in Japan earlier this month, and the release date was announced with the series’ primary trailer, which premiered early last week. With Trigun Stampede, the Trigun franchise returns 20 years after its debut anime adaption.
Anime fans can enjoy a fresh start with Trigun Stampede. Vash the Stampede, the main character, gets a modern makeover by getting a blond, wavy undercut in place of his ’90s boy band spikes. His signature weapon, formerly a silver six-shooter, now has a gunmetal gray cylinder holding eight shots.
Trigun Stampede Anime Release Date
When it was revealed on June 17 that the Trigun anime will be returning to production after a 25-year hiatus, fans went into a frenzy. The January 2023 launch date for the anime was already revealed, but no definite details have been provided. A release date has been set, hence that is no longer the case.
The Premiere of Trigun Stampede Is Set for January 7, 2023.
With the conclusion of the Trigun manga, the series was rediscovered by both old and new fans.
The Orange studio took notice of Trigun’s rising star power, and they are developing a new computer-generated animated series based on the franchise.

Trigun Stampede Anime Storyline
The events of Trigun take place in the 32nd century after the final Earthlings had fled to the undeveloped planet of Gunsmoke, sometimes known as No Man’s Land. There was also a pair of brothers named Vash the Stampede and Millions of Knives who managed to escape the disaster.
Vash, the protagonist, is a notorious gunman who causes mayhem wherever he goes. Vash became known as “the Humanoid Typhoon” because he was accused of destroying the entire city of July. As befits a person of Vash’s prominence, a reward of $60,000.00 has been placed on his head.
Two agents from Bernardelli Insurance Society decide to follow Vash to reduce the damage he’s done, but they soon learn that he is a pacifist and therefore doesn’t fight back when attacked. In truth, the bounty hunters out to get Vash are the ones responsible for most of the carnage.
The problem is that Vash suffers from retrograde amnesia. As a result, he can only recall fragments of his early life and his role in the destruction of July City. He sets out on a journey across Gunsmoke in search of his sibling, Millions of Knives.
Knives, it seems, is also on the hunt for Vash, though for different reasons. The past reappears, and new characters are introduced, as the plot develops. Despite its inspiration from the original manga series,
which consists of two volumes of Trigun and fourteen volumes of Trigun Maximum, Trigun Stampede is not a remake but rather an entirely new concept. Even more so, the previews have introduced us to brand new faces that weren’t in the first film, such as Roberto.
