To the dismay of its admirers, Chainsaw Man, one of the anime series that has received the most attention recently, has reached the conclusion of its first season. Denji is a young man who lives with Pochita, a Chainsaw Devil, according to Crunchyroll’s synopsis of the story. Denji is slain one day after being deceived.
As his memory fades, he contracts with Pochita and, after being restored as “Chainsaw Man,” a man with a devil’s heart, he becomes cognizant once again. No one was let down by Chainsaw Man’s debut season. With its blood-spattered graphics and graphic action, the anarchic, extremely violent anime captured the hearts and minds of hordes of viewers.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Chainsaw Man season 2 has already risen to the top of fans’ most-wanted lists. Despite the lack of definite information, there is still much that we can talk about and hypothesize about until we get to see Denji (and Pochita) once more.
Chainsaw Man Season 2 Release Date
In October 2022, the 12-episode Chainsaw Man made its debut amid the typically busy fall anime viewing period. Although a season 2 announcement has could arrive in fall 2023 judging by previous anime schedules.
In fact, considering Studio MAPPA’s stellar production in previous years, we wouldn’t rule out them identifying a fall 2023 return. However, 2024 may also be a strong contender, particularly if Attack on Titan’s return is pushed out any further into late 2023.

Chainsaw Man Season 2 Plot
Just a quick recap of the first season’s story, courtesy of Crunchyroll: “The Chainsaw Devil Pochita and the teenage boy Denji share a home. Living in abject poverty and harvesting devil corpses with Pochita, he has been paying back the debt his father left behind. Denji is slain one day after being deceived.
As his memory begins to fade, he contracts with Pochita and, after being revived as “Chainsaw Man,” a man with a devil’s heart, he becomes cognizant once more.” What happens to Chainsaw Man in season two is now clear to you.
Denji and his group defeated the Katana Man and the Snake Devil, two minions from the Gun Devil, in the Chainsaw Man season one finale, bringing them closer than ever to the Gun Devil. The mystery dark-haired woman who emerged at the end, though, who was she?
Who is she, and what does her constant harping on about a field mouse mean? — Which mouse would you choose to be—a city mouse or a country mouse? There is still a ton of tale to be told, assuming Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga gets adapted once more in a subsequent installment.
Considering that the first 12 episodes of season one only covered about four storylines, it’s possible that the “Bomb Girl Arc” and even the “International Assassins’ Arc” will both be featured in a future episode. To find out what’s going up next on screen if you can’t wait for new episodes, read Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga.

A Recap of Chainsaw Man Season 1
Denji, a teenager, has a dog with a chainsaw sticking out of his forehead and lives in squalor with them. In the opening scenes, Denji describes the circumstances of his current life. Denji owes the Yakuza more than 38 million yen, which is a huge sum.
Denji has frequently turned to sell his body parts in order to cover the debt; the sad proof of his plight is the fact that he is missing one testicle, one kidney, and his left eye.
However, the amount of money raised from the sale of body parts hasn’t even come close to covering the full amount of debt.
The fact that Denji’s father racked up such a big debt prior to his passing makes the situation all the more terrible because it was not Denji who was initially responsible for it. He also works as a Devil Hunter for the Yakuza, using his chainsaw-wielding pet dog, Pochita, to dispatch monsters.
Denji continues to be indigent despite his perilous work and body part sales. Living with Pochita in his shabby hut, he struggles to make ends meet and enjoys the few slices of bread he can purchase.
Denji longs to be embraced by a female who adores and cares for him, and to one day be able to eat bread and jam. He doesn’t have much time to even spend on himself before he has returned to the battlefield to fight more devils, thus the dream is currently far too far away.
