I.U.) manhwa Tower of God’s anime adaptation was a relatively big hit. But that was in 2020, and it’s been a while since we last heard from the anime, so it’s unclear if Beam’s arduous climb to the top of The Outer Tower will continue in Season 2 of Tower of God.
Luckily, Crunchyroll hosted its 2022 Anime Expo in the first few days of August, and the announcements that were made there were essentially an anime fan’s dream come true. Tower of God was among the fortunate few to receive confirmation for a second season as other new anime.

What Is Tower of God: Season 2 About?
The Tower of God webcomic currently includes 550 chapters, which is an absurd amount of material for any series. However, those chapters are broken up into three sections, and Tower of God: Season 1 accurately depicted all the incidents in section one, despite some changes to the anime’s plot.
In order to locate Baam, Yuri will originally be seen in Tower of God: Season 2 requesting her older sister, Jaina Zahard, for assistance. After that is wrapped up, part two of the webcomic will begin with a startling 6-year time jump and focus on Baam joining the party of Ja Wangnan, another regular, and his attempts to climb the remaining levels of The Outer Tower in an effort to find his pals.
If the anime stays true to the source material, you might see them progress as far as floor 21b of the known 135. Regardless of how the plot unfolds, it’s reassuring to know that Tower of God: Season 2 is being worked on. Additionally, no fan is likely to be let down because the upcoming chapter of the manhwa is greater than before.

Tower of God Season 1 Recap
Twenty-Fifth Bam is the main character in Tower of God. The word “Bam” can mean “Night” or “Chestnut” in Korea, which is noteworthy. With only his close friend Rachel to keep him company, he has spent the majority of his life imprisoned beneath a massive and enigmatic Tower.
Bam is horrified as Rachel enters the Tower.
Bam successfully unlocks the Tower’s entrance in some way. Now, even if it means dying, he will go great distances to see Rachel once more. When he enters the Tower, he encounters comrades who will aid him in climbing it. The strange, entirely contained “Tower” is home to a variety of unusual habitats.
It is infused with an element known as “Shinsu,” which has peculiar capabilities akin to magic in other comic book settings. Many diverse intelligent creatures call it home. A greater position in the Tower and better living conditions are linked to residing on the top floors.
This is due to the fact that advancing from one floor to the next requires passing ever tougher tests of strength, agility, and intellect. Any individuals selected from the Outer Tower to ascend the tower in the Inner Tower are known as Regulars. Former Regulars who ascend to the Tower are referred to as Rankers, and they typically possess great authority over others.
Rankers are frequently assigned administrative duties on the lower floors. The “Ten Great Families,” who serve as the Tower’s executive branch, are seated at its summit. The main representative of this group is a person known as King Jahad (or, in other translations, “Zahard”).
Where to Watch Tower of God?
VRV and Crunchyroll (US) are your best bets for watching God in English dub or sub. An ad-supported free subscription is required to access the anime on Crunchyroll. Additionally, HBO Max and Amazon Prime Video also offer legal streaming of Tower of God (US).
Both of these services have a cost. According to Unogs.com, just a few countries (Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand) have all of the Tower of God episodes available on Netflix.
