Is Tina Turner Still Alive?
Tina Turner is still with us, despite her health problems. Soon after her marriage to Erwin Bach, she suffered a stroke, and doctors soon discovered that she had colon cancer.
Turner spoke about the illnesses that could eventually kill her in her 2018 memoir My Love Story. Just three weeks after her wedding to Erwin Bach in 2013, she suffered a stroke and had to relearn how to walk. In 2016, she was told that she had intestinal cancer.
Turner attempted to treat her high blood pressure using homeopathic remedies, which ultimately led to the progressive deterioration of her kidneys and ultimately to her death. It was recommended that she undergo dialysis immediately because the chances of her receiving a kidney were extremely low.
She had joined Exit and been thinking about assisted suicide when Bach offered to donate a kidney to her. Turner had kidney transplant surgery on April 7, 2017.

Tina Turner had her 83rd birthday in 2022; she was born in Brownsville, Tennessee, on November 26, 1939. She married German music executive Erwin Bach in 2013 after more than 25 years together, and the couple now resides in Switzerland.
While Turner and her husband have been residing in Switzerland since the 1990s, it wasn’t until 2013 that Turner officially gave up her U.S. citizenship to become a citizen of Switzerland.
In an interview with the German tabloid Blick in 2013 (published by E! News), the “Private Dancer” singer said, “I am extremely pleased in Switzerland and I feel at home here.” A more ideal spot to call home, I say not.
