It’s been almost a year since TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You’s second season and an extra episode were announced. The second season of the anime version of Kenjiro Hata’s manga series Tonikaku Kawaii has finally been shown.
At the same time, the extra episode was released on November 22.
On Monday, November 21, 2022, the official website for Tonikaku Kawaii released the first trailer and key visual for the second season. confirming it will be out in 2023. The other main actors and staff were also revealed.
Where to Watch Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2?

At first, Crunchyroll only streamed season one of the anime with English subtitles. The dubbed version came out on November 20, 2022, but it had to debut more than a month after the episodes with English subtitles.
I’m hoping that the English dub of Tonikaku Kawaii season 2 will come out sooner.

When Will Tonikawa Season 2 Come Out?
In November 2021, Tonikawa found out about Season 2, which confirmed the original anime staff and returning cast.
On top of the news about the second season, it was also said that Tonikawa will get more episodes.
Along with the announcement of the second season, the new art of the show’s main characters, Nasa and Tsukasa, was shown.
At the moment, there is no official date for the release, but this article will be updated as soon as one is set. It is likely that Season 2 will start in the middle of 2023.
Crunchyroll has confirmed that the show will be available to stream on their site when it airs.

Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2 Plot
Like season 1, Tonikaku Kawaii season 2 will focus on the relationship between newlyweds Nasa and Tsukasa. But new romances are never easy, so we expect more shenanigans and trouble in this next chapter too.
In the last season of the show, an apartment burned down, there were first kisses, first loves were crushed, and two people accidentally shared a bed. It was a good ride, but it was also full of action and mishaps that Nasa and Tsukasa had to handle together.
Since changing a good formula is never a good idea, it makes sense that season 2 will have the same kind of funny episodes as season 1. But even so, we’re willing to bet that Nasa and Tsukasa will start to take more steps and speed up their romance in the next chapter.
Crunchyroll put out a special episode of the animated show before season 2 starts in November 2022. In the OVA, Tsukasa did some cosplay, which made her husband blush and gets very flustered.
Even though it may look like fan service, the fact that they got closer and more intimate in this episode suggests that their relationship will get more serious in season 2.
